The newly formed President's Advisory 1776 Commission just released its report. The group was chaired by Churchill historian and Hillsdale College President Dr. Larry P. Arnn. The vice chair was Dr. Carol M. Swain, a retired professor of political science. (Full disclosure: I was a member of the commission.)
The unanimously approved conclusions focused on the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the historical challenges to these founding documents and the need for civic renewal. The 16-member commission was diverse in the widest sense of the familiar adjective. It included historians, lawyers, academics, scholars, authors, former elected officials and past public servants.
Whether because the report was issued by a Donald Trump-appointed commission, or because the conclusions questioned the controversial and flawed New York Times-sponsored 1619 Project, there was almost immediate criticism from the left.
Yet at any other age than the divisive present, the report would not have been seen as controversial.
First, the commission offered a brief survey of the origins of the Declaration of Independence, published in 1776, and the Constitution, signed in 1787. It emphasized how unusual for the age were the founders' commitments to political freedom, personal liberty and the natural equality endowed by our creator -- all the true beginning of the American experiment.
The commission reminded us that the founders were equally worried about autocracy and chaos. So they drafted checks and balances to protect citizens from both authoritarianism, known so well from the British Crown, and the frenzy of sometimes wild public excess.

Once of the thief’s first EO’s was to dissolve the commission. It mentioned it was planned in the article, it’s now done.
And the newly disbanded President's Advisory 1776 Commission. Nothing is going to be done with their advice. Not under this administration.

If you search for 1776 in the upper right corner, you will find the report.
How many were members of BLM? Antifa? NYT?
For those of you who asked, I got booted at the last minute, I think, so they could put Ned Ryun on this. At any rate, the person from the WH who called said President Trump wanted me on a permanent position, so I was placed on the Board of Education Sciences, a 4-year position from which Biteme cannot fire me.
I plan to make sure that only solid, patriotic education is funded to the best of my ability.
The Democrats have no use for the liberal values embraced by the Founders. They want no checks and balances. They recognize no rights, except for their own benefit. They don’t tolerate the views of others. They have no respect for democracy. Free market? Nope. Equality under the law? Nope.
The current Dems are simply nihilist opportunists — they believe in nothing but seizing power, and using it to feed off what others have earned. It is imperative to them that the values of the Founders be represented as essentially the same.
They already accomplished their mandate when they issued their report, and the federal executive doesn't really have any power to act on its recommendations anyway. The content of education is still overwhelmingly controlled by state and local governments, and Republicans control most of those. It's about time Republicans started exercising that power more aggressively, and they can start by implementing the 1776 Commission's recommendations.
Also, as a lawyer, I found Chris Rufo's announcement yesterday to be interesting: a coalition of legal foundations and lawyers focused on fighting critical race theory. Groups like Alliance Defending Freedom and FIRE have already had a lot of success in similar efforts, so I hope they can get off the ground and I am certainly volunteering to help.
Losing the White House is no reason to give up on this.

One must feel sorry for those dupes elected to THOUSANDS of local school boards across the country.
THEY are the lightning rods that dissipate the charges before they can harm the REAL masters.
