ATLANTA (AP) — Former President Jimmy Carter and former first lady Rosalynn Carter will not attend President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration. It marks the first time the couple, 96 and 93, will have missed the ceremonies since Carter was sworn in as the 39th president in 1977.
A spokeswoman at The Carter Center in Atlanta said the Carters have sent Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris their “best wishes” and “look forward to a successful administration.”
Biden was a young Delaware senator and Carter ally during the Georgian’s term in the White House.

Yep Jimmy is very old. At the virtual Democrat convention, the Carters delivered verbal statements but did not appear on camera to speak. I wonder if they just don’t want to appear in public anymore.

The only good thing from Carter’s presidency was Ron Reagan...The only good thing from OBlameo presidency was Trump...Now the only good thing from Biden Harris is nothing...the Dems swill use fraud from now on...🙁
1980 was the first time I ever voted for a Republican, but I voted for Carter in 1976 because he came across as more conservative than Gerald Ford, and I was already making the trek out of the dark side.
Carter has become more leftist in his old age, but he has always had a soul for this country, which makes him a dinosaur Democrat in more ways than one. I will be sorry when he goes, and that goes for Rosalyn.

Probably, unless you think that something more than a Y chromosome is required to make a person a man, in which the comparison may fail if Mitt doesn’t have what it takes.
I will grant that Mitt has a Y chromosome, and Carter is better than he. That may carry your point.
