A woman is in custody after allegedly stealing a mail truck in Brooklyn and slamming it into at least 10 parked cars Friday night.
Shocking video of the car carnage shows the driver repeatedly accelerating and reversing into the vehicles around her — including a police car — as she’s surrounded by screaming NYPD officers.
The postal panic begin on Fulton Street and Patchen Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant just after 6 p.m., police sources say.

I often wonder what triggers these type of events. Did the woman suddenly go nuts, or has she been planning to steal a mail truck and crash into numerous other vehicles for some time? For publicity, or to impress friends? Inquiring minds want to know.

The NY Post "shocking video" was a bait-and-switch -- it only showed the woman being pulled from the truck AFTER the carnage, and lots of views of... sidewalk, officers' legs, and all totally unwatchable.
