I often wonder what triggers these type of events. Did the woman suddenly go nuts, or has she been planning to steal a mail truck and crash into numerous other vehicles for some time? For publicity, or to impress friends? Inquiring minds want to know.

Whenever I read of someone going berserk over a trivial event, I look on it as sloppy reporting. What pressure was that person under?
When my kids were small, they'd torment the Hell out of us, and we'd correct them time and time again - and then blow up a the latest, most inconsequential event.
I suspect that's what happens to people - all kinds of crap is slowly accumulated - until the "straw on the camel's back" situation occurs and they go off.
