As Biden spoke, some governors blasted the Trump administration for what at least one said was “deception” in suggesting earlier this week a reserve of vaccine doses was ready to ship, augmenting supplies. An administration official said states have still not ordered all of the doses allocated to them, and called it a problem with states’ expectations.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat, said he was among several governors deceived by federal officials about availability of a strategic supply of doses.
“This one is so far beyond the pale to be almost unimaginable,” he said. “Who’s going to be prosecuted for this? What are the states to do when they’ve been lied to and made all their plans around this?”
What are they planning to have these entities do - rub the vaccine on 5.56 rounds?
I am not sure I trust some random dude giving me an injection to know the difference between subcutaneous and intramuscular.
Reading up on Shingrix some of the severe arm reactions came from not doing it the right way.
Which made me wonder if the arm problem so many are having from Covid vax is because some are getting it subcutaneous.

IIRC, the Governors are running this.

This will be the first of many mismanagement actions he will take. Guarantee they will screw it up even worse than the states have. Doses thawed then wasted when people don’t show up for appointments. In rush to vaccinate as many as possible the best case will be they have enough come in over the next few weeks to give second shots to those who get the hurried first shot. More likely they will run out of shots and people will go too long between shots while no one new gets first shots for a few weeks.
