Panic buttons were inexplicably torn out ahead of Capitol riots, says Ayanna Pressley chief of staff

Panic buttons installed in Ayanna Pressley’s congressional office were torn out before rioters stormed the Capitol last week, her staff have said.

Sarah Groh, who serves as Ms Pressley’s chief of staff, was with the congresswoman when president Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the US Capitol building last Wednesday.

She told the Boston Globe that she had reached for the panic buttons installed in Ms Pressley’s office as they tried to barricade themselves in.

But, when they went to press panic buttons, Ms Pressley’s staff saw that they weren’t there, and appeared to have been ripped out.

“Every panic button in my office had been torn out - the whole unit,” Ms Groh told the paper.

She added that she could not believe why the panic buttons were removed, and that Ms Pressley’s staff had used the panic buttons in the past, including during drills.

Nor had Ms Pressley and her staff moved offices, said Ms Groh.

I’ll be cleaning that bathroom(!) closet out at some point in the not-too-distant future, so I’ll ping you. It would be good for parts. IIRC, it’s a 17. I just don’t have the bandwidth or desire to fart around with it any more.

BS - most of these guys were Oath Keepers and Proud boys. Watch the videos and see who they have arrested. They have arrested several cops - including one from HPD today. Watch the "Battle of the Corridor" with a bunch of middle aged white men and tell me that is Antifa and anarchists.

You are literally buying your own propaganda. Stop the gaslighting. The sceencaptures from these guys prior to the 6th tells the tale. They aren't Antifa. They planned it on Parler, Mewe and a bunch of other social media sites.

The Star Tak was immortal.

One night I came out of a store and dropped it on the ground.

Didn’t notice until I drove a 4Runner over it, front and back tires and felt the sad, quiet little “whump whump” of surprise and confusion.

Got out to see what I’d smashed and there was my phone, smiling up at me.

I still have it but it no longer connects to whatever “protocol” they use now.

Or whatever they said.

inexplicably

Capitol Police inexplicably stood down.

Capitol Police inexplicably led protesters into the building.

The Sgt. at Arms inexplicably ignored the Capitol Police Chief's request for heightened security.

The protesters who were agitating the loudest inexplicably wore hoodies, masks, helmets, gas masks and other Antifa-typical gear that most other protesters didn't have.

inexplicable!

Now how TF is she gonna blame the GOP for this? Nazi has some explaining to do, especially if John Solomon’s reporting is correct that she knew about it in advance and told the CP to stand down. Could explain her recent absence and all the resignations by LE. 🤣

Watch Michael Yon’s interview with Epoch Times. He says it was Antifa led, and he’s covered about 100 of their protests. Weird that you’d believe the MSM and blame patriotic LE before you’d blame a known violent group. Don’t you even wonder where Antifa was that day? They never miss a chance to counter protest and provoke Trump supporters at rallies, yet no real sign of them. Like I said, weird.

> First thing I did was smack SIRI upside the head. Stupid git couldn’t understand my Hillbilly accent, anyway.

Definitely love/hate with Siri. Over time she/it has gotten better in some respects but worse in others. Better at figuring out the contextually correct homonym (to, too, two). But her mistakes are now much more, umm, "creative". Which makes for more hand-corrections, reducing the usefulness.

I've got a fairly neutral yankee accent, and my enunciation is usually excellent, so you'd think she wouldn't have trouble. Oh well, it does beat typing everything with the screen keyboard. My old fingers are too big and too slow.

Apple really ought to have a "Hillbilly accent" option.

Maybe they should ask the Pakistani Awan brothers, the House IT guys... the Democrats gave them the run of the place and they stole electronic equipment all the time.

After all, I don't think people can generally just walk in to a congressional office and and start installing or uninstalling stuff.

Why not, the Awans did... and Xavier Becerra made a computer disappear.
