Panic buttons were inexplicably torn out ahead of Capitol riots, says Ayanna Pressley chief of staff

Panic buttons installed in Ayanna Pressley’s congressional office were torn out before rioters stormed the Capitol last week, her staff have said.

Sarah Groh, who serves as Ms Pressley’s chief of staff, was with the congresswoman when president Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the US Capitol building last Wednesday.

She told the Boston Globe that she had reached for the panic buttons installed in Ms Pressley’s office as they tried to barricade themselves in.

But, when they went to press panic buttons, Ms Pressley’s staff saw that they weren’t there, and appeared to have been ripped out.

“Every panic button in my office had been torn out - the whole unit,” Ms Groh told the paper.

She added that she could not believe why the panic buttons were removed, and that Ms Pressley’s staff had used the panic buttons in the past, including during drills.

Nor had Ms Pressley and her staff moved offices, said Ms Groh.

OK, this is an extremely weird and scary story that points to a deeper conspiracy. I can totally see congressional offices having panic buttons. It's common for any secure type place like a bank.

Pressley states the button was there for for an earlier security drill. Then it's gone. Why? It's not like some hi tech piece of gear that would need replacement.

Who removed it? Why? When? In theory, if there was some legit reason to remove it there would be a work order somewhere and a whole chain of paperwork. After all, I don't think people can generally just walk in to a congressional office and and start installing or uninstalling stuff.

Someone wanted this conflict and possibly they wanted casualties. I smell an FBI entrapment operation operation. In the past I would have never thought such a thing, but with the FBI's entrapment of Flynn and others thru the creation of forged evidence, all bets are off as to how far they might go.

“I heard other congress people reported the same.”

You’re skill at passing gossip is impressive.

Notice how this article says nothing about calling the police, the police opening an investigation, fingerprinting the crime scene etc...

What I found funny, was that every time I turned on my phone, it was telling me that I needed to have it plugged in to accept some “critical update” for the last month or so.

It can’t update without being plugged, for some reason.

So my phone has lived in the kitchen, in my purse, unplugged.

It stopped whining about the update so I reckon it gave up.

*No* idea how the auto update resurrected itself, unbidden.

It’s off again.

I find myself approaching my phone as if it’s a deadly ambush predator now, poking it with a stick, as it were, before I do anything with it.

The joys of cyber-slavery.

I miss my old Motorola Star-Tak.
It was indestructible and stupid.

ransomnote :" The Deep State was looking for a massacre.
Send in Anarchists/Antifa wearing MAGA hats and let them do as much damage as possible.
Creepy to tear out the panic buttons."

Tear out panic buttons in several locations would indicate preparation and premeditation.
The only thing missing is AntiFa running with large rolls of 'zip ties' to be used as restraints (A/K/A; handcuffs).
If such a large roll of 'zip ties' existed with incoming invaders, it would indicate possible hostage taking intent.
Any removal of panic buttons on Federal property would require a written, dated, and signed duty order, through established procedure.

The phone needs to be plugged into a charger because if an update / install was in process and you were running on the phone’s battery, there is the possibility of the battery running out half way thru the install which would render the phone inoperative.

Nah. It had to be those white supremacist congressmen that AOC is so frightened of.

Apparently they were to be the designated martyrs. Something must’ve gone wrong and the leftist operatives tasked with the deed weren’t able to get to them...

My Win 10 laptop ‘suddenly’ performed an update coming back from Maryland, and reset a whole lotta love. I thought it did a System Restore. If Skynet wants to play, I’ll go back to Win XP. Play ball.

I'm not calling anyone a liar.

But..weren't all Congresscritters and their staff vaccinated in December?

If so, then it's highly unlikely the mask-status of people sheltering in place lead to Pressley's husband contracting ANYTHING.

I saw a photo of a guy, all in black, climbing on seats in the chambers and he had a big wad of zip ties.

The POS 17R5 laptop Alienware sent me when they “couldn’t fix” my 18 under warranty gives no choice but Win10, due to no Win7 drivers for the hardware.

I have disabled updates every way to Sunday and it STILL updates itself unexpectedly.

Every other old laptop is happily running 98/XP/7, depsite the frequent dire threats of “no longer supported/OMG you’re naked on the net, now!”.

Yah.

Whatever.

Great image. And yeah, I get what you mean. Damn things are one step short of sentience.

Yeah, like every average Trump supporter is not always toting around a dozen or more zip ties.
