Management action that hurts the price of a stock would be considered irresponsible at best and financial malfeasance at worse.
For stockholders, who knows when they might need to sell. Having management damage a stock price due to virtue signaling is downright embarrassing.

We had good elections here, thanks to De Santis’ changes of policies and personnel. We went for Trump, but the Dems had done a good job of (legitimately) getting out buses of elderly black people, harvesting ballots, etc.
Duval County (Jax) went blue but I think it was fair, because the Dems collected a lot of money and did a lot of work.
But we should have done the same. I contributed a lot to the GOP and they did nothing here in Jacksonville. The GOP makes no effort to get out the vote or to capitalize on technology or to even wake up.

We'll soon see if DiSantis can ‘afford’ to play in their ballpark. These tech company CEO'S like to throw their political and economic weight around in the big games......billions! Di Santis may not think it wise to put his state on that line monetarily.

DeSantis is the best governor I can remember that does what he believes.
Unfortunately, he will be targeted for destruction along with Rick Scott who has been a better Senator than governor for Florida (In Scott's defense had a lot of flack/mine fields left by Jeb/Crist to deal with).

Tech companies can’t compete with no State taxes, pleasant weather (Castastopic damage from hurricanes affect the coast, inland areas rebound within a week), and a business friendly environment. Florida has multiple industries beside tech as well.
