This is really big news. Lets hope other states follow.
I really like this guy - cleaned up the voter roles, kept FL open and now divesting from Big-Tech. Never forget he won by only about 30,000 over a real loser.
It’s only big if they actually own the stock. And the price of a stock doesn’t affect day to day operation of a company. Just ability to raise capital in the future. Apple probably doesn’t need capital unless it want’s to buy the world.

For gosh sakes people, please read before you post. The referenced letter is a request from a FL state rep to Gov DeSantis to divest. It is not an order from DeSantis.
He will be our next POTUS with Noem as his VP!!
That’s gonna leave a mark.
I will say, if he survives his 2022 Re-election bid, he’s bullet-proof to run for POTUS, because if there’s anything out there, they will expose it.
He’d just better not throw Trump under the bus.
All that is irrelevant. This sends the message to tens of millions to avoid these companion like the plague. It’s not complicated. They’re your enemy.

If this is true then excellent news.. I think he should go a step further and ban all of them from the state. He can simply state to may lie and censorship from those companies and refuse to let them in on the net.
Other alternatives will then spring up that allows free speech by both sides.

Great for DeSantis. He should be dropping the hammer on any companies that are in Florida and going after the President, et al.
They don’t care. They’d billionaire buddies will pick up the slack.
DeSantis will be in for the fight of his life for re-election. The fraud machine has been ingrained in our system. No telling what they have in store for him.

Just want o add, even if it isn’t true it’s a great idea. All of us should demand our state reps put forth legislation banning these companies from our states on 1st amendment violations of 1/2 the people in their state.
Of course it wouldn’t pass in all states but if enough states do it then it puts a real hurting on these companies.
