Nothing is secure. Our governor and his cronies got ran out of town because a disgruntled crony kept screenshots of their Telegram chats and then published them when he was fired.

There is a massive difference between a liberal and a leftist. Liberals are usually terribly misguided idealists who screw things up because they can’t face reality. They aren’t violent and value freedom even if they don’t really know what it is.
Leftists are violent totalitarians who hate everyone who disagrees with them and have no problem eliminating — by any means necessary — any opposition. Even those who agree with them 99% of the time.
There are as few liberals left in power as their are true conservatives. The ruling class of this nation is mostly composed of corrupt corporatists (republicans) and leftists (democrats), and they have no problem allying together. For now this is a useful alliance for the left because the corporatists are easily bought whores.
But the left is all-consuming, eventually turning on itself when there is no one else left to hate. The corrupt corporatists will eventually be thrown into the sausage machine when they aren’t needed anymore.

So what? He’s not subsidized. His corporations are, but to a minor extent since most of their monies come from fund raising and bank loans.
Many big corporations and industries receive federal dollars. Its what they do with the money that is either good or bad. Does the company improve lives or does the company enrich itself? Musk’s companies clearly improve lives.
Musk’s SpaceX also owns the Starlink satellite internet system. Low latency broadband under SpaceX control.
