Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer posted two photos on social media this week to taunt her political opponents.
On Thursday, upon the news Education Secretary Betsy DeVos had resigned, Whitmer posted a photo of herself wearing an anti-DeVos shirt:

If Betsy thinks she will be “loved” by the left for resigning, she is sadly mistaken. Now, already despised by the Left, she has added patriots to her detractors.
Nobody likes a turncoat.
You don’t know how much persecution Betsy De Vos has gone through. I follow her, and the teachers and teachers union hate her with a passion and are incredibly vicious. She supports charter schools and home-schooling, and she and Trump have worked closely together.
She’s not quitting because she hates Trump. She’s leaving because she’s going to be replaced anyway, and this is a good time not to get caught up in the viciousness that will follow.
This is what happens when you elect low-IQ crackpots into office.
That may be, but she stated that her reason for leaving was the “riot”. If she just resigned quietly, knowing that this was probably the end, it would not have engendered such rancor, since she would probably be replaced anyway.
BTW, I was a stanch supporter of her when she was appointed, and took a lot of abuse for my support of her. So I am aware of the abuse, because I caught some of it for defending her.
I’m just saying that NONE of the people who publicly turn their backs on Trump will be admired by the left. They will hate you no matter what.
Whatever her reasons for resigning, she didn’t go about it in the right way.

That’s true, I didn’t know she had said that. Prior to this she had been a very firm supporter of Trump (and he was a firm supporter of hers) so I’m sorry to hear that. But don’t write her off.
I think a lot of the resignations and hysteria we saw yesterday were the result of panic from media coverage, and probably even some of our elected representatives who bailed will rethink it in the next few days.
Especially when they see how much more popular Trump is after all of this...LOL! Seriously, his popularity has risen in the Rasmussen poll.
The bitch from Michigan reminds me of Diana from the mini-series “V” in the 1980’s.

Michigan, great job of electing Whitmer.
She’s not a “country club Republican,” she’s done a great job - even from a wheelchair after her severe injury - and has made a good education available to a lot of non-country club children who otherwise were stuck in the public schools. She has established many programs to encourage excellence in ghetto neighborhoods and also even in poor rural districts.
Her real medal of honor is that the teachers’ unions hate her with a passion and send death wishes her way every day.
Then why did she say she was quitting because Trump encouraged the riots?
Probably because she panicked. I think a lot of those who quit for this supposed reason will be coming back, but I think a lot of people were terrified by yesterday’s day of purges.
I can understand that, because never in my life have I seen such a thing in the US and it never even crossed my mind that it even could happen here. But it has.
We don’t need weaklings.
