You don’t know how much persecution Betsy De Vos has gone through. I follow her, and the teachers and teachers union hate her with a passion and are incredibly vicious. She supports charter schools and home-schooling, and she and Trump have worked closely together.
She’s not quitting because she hates Trump. She’s leaving because she’s going to be replaced anyway, and this is a good time not to get caught up in the viciousness that will follow.
That may be, but she stated that her reason for leaving was the “riot”. If she just resigned quietly, knowing that this was probably the end, it would not have engendered such rancor, since she would probably be replaced anyway.
BTW, I was a stanch supporter of her when she was appointed, and took a lot of abuse for my support of her. So I am aware of the abuse, because I caught some of it for defending her.
I’m just saying that NONE of the people who publicly turn their backs on Trump will be admired by the left. They will hate you no matter what.
Whatever her reasons for resigning, she didn’t go about it in the right way.
Oh, the left will leave her a** alone. She’s a country club Republican and she will not be spared!
