Republican legislators who challenged Joe Biden’s electoral college victory may be expelled from Congress under a planned resolution.
Newly elected Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) on Wednesday revealed the draft proposal shortly after Trump supporters broke into the Capitol, causing chaos and destruction. The crowd delayed the counting of Biden’s election victory under the baseless pretext that the election was “stolen,” as President Donald Trump has often repeated.
“I believe the Republican members of Congress who have incited this domestic terror attack through their attempts to overturn the election must face consequences,” Bush said in a statement. “They have broken their sacred Oath of Office.”

It is 100% constitutional. The House and the Senate can expel members by the rules they decide on.
We have a two party system, and anyone who disagrees with the policies of the Democrats will now be purged and their lives will be ruined.

Their jumping up and down to get Trump out of office before the 20th puzzles me. It does not make sense.
If the President creates a new party you will have a real option. The supposed conservatives in Congress will have to choose. Stay with the sinking rat ship or get on board with the Patriots. In 2003 in Canada, many Progressive Conservative Party Members of Parliament who had won by huge margins in small town, rural districts thought they would survive the repudiation of their Party. Every one of them lost their seat.

The only way I see this makes sense -- and at great risk of creating much more anger -- is a warning to any "non-career politician" they better not even think about doing what Trump did in 2015-2016.
To emphasize his promise that "America will never be a socialist country", while he still has the power Trump needs to strike back high, hard and fast against -- at least -- the leaders of this four-year coup d'etat.

Their oath of office does not REQUIRE agreeing with other members of Congress on anything, not even on Constitutional matters. The ONLY Constitutional rebuke they can get from the House is the one they already got - their challenge of electors was defeated.
If the House succeeds in removing from the House the representatives that challenged the electors, then real one-party rule is being established.

I think we should take them all out - at a national level -if possible, first.
Vote libertarian or not at all.

Agreed, they don't have a right to our vote, and, except for Trump, they certainly haven't earned it.
