..................
Hope they don't spend 67 million on another one.
What are the chances that Biden moves the embassy back to where it was?
Trump paid 1/2 million to open the new embassy.
Slim to none, as Bitem will not set foot in the oval office. Unless he tries to run again in 2024.
But, to directly comment on your question - I believe the initial move cost nothing more than putting up an appropriately-worded plaque on an existing Tel Aviv building. It’s the purchase of land, renovations and/or construction, hardening, and security electronics that costs the big bucks.
How much did Biden get?........................
I may be misreading his depravity, but I think it will remain
in Jerusalem.
I didn’t see a listing or virtual tour on realestate.com.
LOL.
5.56mm
Some connected and rich leftist will acquire it and sell it back to us for triple the price. Probably a friend of Hillary or a Biden.
None!
67 million dollars?!?!?!?!?!?! What in tarnation kind of a “home” is that?
Good. But the embassy will never move back. Arabs are abandoning the Palestinians in droves. They are more concerned about Iran than supporting terrorist types who offer nothing useful.
I have been there. Gorgeous compound.
Not sure it’s a good idea to sell it, but that’s a fortune, even for Herzliya.
Presidents who keep campaign promises: what a concept...
Rewarded by the Deep State, their media lapdogs and Chinese sponsors with an imaginary pink slip.
Trump was our Washingtonian president.
Probably very low. He’s said he’s going to “reopen” the Jerusalem consulate which serviced the palestinian areas as well as Israel, and was our only consulate independent of the countries Embassy. Reopen in quotes, since I believe the Embassy is on the grounds of the old consulate. I’m open to correction on that, but reopen could mean downgrading the current Embassy and moving it elsewhere.
Again I’m open to correction, but I believe the new Embassy occupies the grounds of the old Jerusalem consulate. Expanded I assume, but maybe not.
Very expensive one, apparently the most expensive in Israel ever.
Almost as rare as ones who recognize reality and act accordingly.
$67 million is a weekend’s worth of work in Ukraine for Hunter.
