Why should young and perfectly healthy Congress members like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez get the COVID vaccine when numerous health care workers and elderly desperately need it?AOC/Instagram
The coronavirus vaccine is the new status symbol, the ultimate signifier of privilege, chutzpah and exclusivity — the things that separate the ultra-elite and powerful from ordinary chumps. It is a sign one has made it.
In America, the few, the grand, the insufferably arrogant are leapfrogging over heroic and nameless first-responders, the vulnerable elderly and chronically infirm — anyone without an elected title or fat government salary.
You can forget progressive-speak about inequality. These entitled folks have been invited to roll up their sleeves and boastfully, even piggishly, gorge themselves at the trough of the potentially life-saving drug. Some have taken the opportunity to rub their needle-jabbing in our faces, using social media to promote their supposed bravery for passively receiving Pfizer’s miracle elixir, or posing for photographs or in front of TV cameras as they receive sweet relief.
The rest of us will just have to wait, many of us until spring, at the earliest.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (among others), who plays a champion for the poor and powerless in her Bronx/Queens district, showing off her own injection, live on Instagram. Her narcissistic posing began as she embarrassingly shared the run-up to the needle, doing such things as filling out a form.

The dirty little secret is out. Fauci & others have admitted over the past couple of weeks that the ‘vaccine’ does not prevent the spread of the virus. They also concede a refusal to implement ‘challenge trials’ to test the effectiveness of the ‘vaccine’. This is because it is NOT a ‘vaccine’: It is a prophylaxis, solely designed to stave off serious symptoms. Thus even this PROPHYLAXIS is totally unnecessary for 80% of the populace because it is incapable of conferring herd immunity and that portion of the populace derives no benefit whatsoever from being injected, acquiring NO IMMUNITY until such a time that they are exposed to the virus. Any honest, intelligent person would now concede that this lockdown gambit on which they’ve doubled-down has proven disastrous, both socially & economically, and that a different approach is now mandated since it’s exposed that the Pfizer & Moderna drugs do NOTHING to stop the spread of a virus less deadly to 80% of the populace than riding in a motor vehicle.
I hope they all suffer greatly from the effects of the ‘vaccine’.
Joe Biteme and Commiela Harlot said that they are getting their shots on different schedules (and well in advance of January 20th) so if anything DOES go wrong, the top two Democrats don't perish.
So all members of Congress are getting this at the same time? Have they even tried to get their messaging consistent?

There is no shame in D.C. it has more shrinks per capita then any city in the country.
It’s a mecca for cons whores blackmailers and fake media experts.

It is going to be a challenge to get enough people lined up, to keep up with the massive flow of vaccine coming out of the factories. Let the few hundred in Congress lead by example, and their few thousand staff get shots, to ensure Continuity of Government.
About ten million doses have been delivered, and about one million administered. At least ten million more per week are coming down the pipeline. The period of scarcity for vaccine will not be long in the USA, thanks to the Trump Administration’s use of the Defense Procurement Act.
It is wise to prioritize the vulnerable and the essential (CongressCritters excuse), but soon the challenge will be getting people to show up for the shot. They need to ramp up to a million or two per day, after the holidays.
As I’ve said before I can see the advantages to Congress getting the vaccine first. It it turns out not to work then we don’t lose anyone of any value.
Depending on who you listen to, it's either the salvation of mankind or a fiendish plan to decimate it. Bottom line is that it's too new to know for sure. I'm not ready to buy into the conspiracy theory that 9/10ths of those vaccinated die and the rest are tagged and radio-controlled permanently. Or the alternate theory that says only the elite will get the vaccine ( which is good this time) while the rest are forever undocumented and excluded. There's the theory that the vaccine causes women's immune systems to attack and kill placental cells, making it impossible for them to conceive or reproduce. And the one where the vaccine short-circuits and misdirects your cells so you are suddenly HIV and AIDS positive! How about the one where the vaccine is only effective temporarily, so you have to get boosted every few months, which secretly promotes dependency and addiction?
Then you have to worry about the "stupid mistake" scenario, where something totally random that nobody thought of causes disaster now or years later. Anybody ever heard of Thalidomide?
I'm over 60 but have still decided I'll take my chances, which are really pretty good, instead of getting the shot, which I think is actually more risky. AOC should have thought about it more before she Guinea-pigged herself, she's got a lot more of her life to protect than I do. Be a shame if she ended up permanently sterile or addicted or dead...
They are more equal than the rest of us. I also am unsurprised at the calls for cards or identification of the “vaccinated”. Tyrants are gonna tyrant. Right?

Shame? One must have a conscience in order to feel shame. If I endorse the slaughter of innocent babies I am not likely to feel shame over recieving this vacination in front of those most needful. Rest assured, however, God will repay.
