It’s very easy to sit behind a keyboard and disparage everyone for these disclaimers or short opposing views being aired.
It’s a whole different thing to face writing huge checks to defending attorneys.
Until I see someone say ‘I’m willing to give EVERYTHING I own, including all my future earnings, to help support these guys and their fight’ I’ll just say you are just full of fart laden shit.

Ok - clarification. Yes, I get that a company has to protect itself against being sued out of existence. But, the first part of her statement was what I’d expect -”Newsmax has nothing to do with the OPINIONS expressed by some of its guests”. The part that burns me is then the entire rest of the statement basically written by SmartMatic and Dominion lawyers and NewsMax babe is reading it AS IF IT IS THE UNDISPUTABLE TRUTH. That’s what bugs me. I would even have thought it was enough wiggle room if she said “Dominion and Smartmatic STATE they are not evil, corrupt, fraudsters”.

If Newsmax could back up their claim they would. Ditto with Fox. But they must feel they have no proof or they would have fought. Lesson to be learned: don’t make a claim if you can’t back it up in a court of law.
Mark Levin had to do the same when she was on to protect his show legally after she went off on some kraken she hadn’t verified herself. She hasn’t been back I don’t think.
This selective disclaimer game fraudulently implies that media crap without such disclaimers is correct or honest.
Start and end every program with: “YOU are responsible for independently verifying everything you hear, read, and see before accepting it as the truth.”
