Several members of Congress are taking to social media to complain about the handful of hours they have to read the 5,593-page spending bill.
“5600 pages. Votes allegedly in 6 hours,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) wrote on Twitter about the $2.3 trillion bill.
“Neither Democrats nor Republicans should vote for this nonsense. There should be bipartisan rejection of this absurdity,” he added.
“Just another bill we have to pass before the American people discover all the goodies that special interests jammed into it over the past week,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) said:
“It’s not good enough to hear about what’s in the bill,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter.
“Members of Congress need to see & read the bills we are expected to vote on. I know it’s ‘controversial’ & I get in trouble for sharing things like this, but the people of this country deserve to know. They deserve better,” she said.

Trump has nothing to lose by vetoing this monstrosity.
Ask for a stripped down version
The correct answer is to vote no. This is being rushed which means there are nasty surprises hiding in it. This is not how a representative government is supposed to work. No debate, no time to read a bill, just expected to rubber stamp whatever the deep state and lobbyists have hidden in it.
Then they should vote against it, no matter what they were promised.
That is ridiculous, disrespectful and it’s probably done like this on purpose to prevent close reading.
There outta be a law...

It is an obscenity.
The whole bunch of Republicans should line up and tell the people that all of this hardship was brought to you by Democrats
That’s longer than they had for reading the “Affordable Care Act” aka Øbamacare.
Have 5,000 plus citizens each read and learn about one page and then stage a big arena meeting to tell Congress what’s in the bill. Unfortunately, the muffled sounds of face masks make that difficult. But doable.
MAFUSIO. “Our Thing”
...yes, they think you're that dumb.
I’ve been posting on Twitter that this is like a school teacher assigning Tolstoy’s “War and Peace” to her students in the morning and asking for a book report on it by the end of the day.
Pelosi: "You have to pass it first and find out what's in the bill later on."
Rumor has it page 3,911 said "Any Americans who are named Mitt will pay no health care costs for the rest of their lives. This will apply to all people named Mitt."
That would give them about 100 hours to review this bill. (4 days)
Would be enough for staff to divide up and pour over.
This government is beyond repair.
Same old tricks. We get what we tolerate.
“I was elected to lead, not to read.”
Why are they complaining ? They are supermen and superwomen and they love American Citizen ..... Right ?
