Stock futures down a pretty good bit this morning. Haven't seen any significant news as to why (other than the usual lies).

DOW -507

Market is concerned about new, ~70% more contagious variant / mutation of COVID being reported in the UK.
Cuomo has already been in the press talking about the fact 6 flights a day arrive in NY from the UK.
It’s coming here very, very soon if it’s not here already.

My guess that is probably 80% of the problem...oil futures down quite a bit too. Any shock to the demand side is reflected in energy prices. After their passing another 1T stimulus scam, one would expect both inflation and a dollar drop which would be reflected in upward oil prices but not the case today as they are down about 5-8% of those I follow.
Maybe the same type of ALGORITHMS that interfered with the election is working for Wall Street.

I think probably 20 to 25 total Congressmen are not traitors...the rest should be in Guantanamo.
The official party line is the UK Covid strain. Perhaps a good bit is the selling of securities needed to add Tesla to the S&P 500 and all of the packaged investments that mirror that index.

This new variant has spooked the market now, but I’ve been cashing out for a couple of weeks. Apple poked through the price level it hit just before the split in September - and that was a signal to me.
If you listened to the ‘experts’, over the last month or so they have all saying that 2021 will be a dynamite year for growth since 2020 has been so restrictive on society - that everybody will be jumping back onto planes, taking cruises and spending like crazy. Happy days are here again.
When all the ‘experts’ agree, look out.
