The United States is in "one of the most dangerous periods" in its history because of China, and most people don't realize how "deeply serious" the problem is, particularly after Joe Biden's election, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Thursday.

"You have a president-elect who cannot even tell the truth about his relationship with the Chinese," Gingrich said on ( Fox News' "Fox and Friends.") "There is a story today that he may appoint one of the two major movie executives who have been kowtowing to the Chinese for a decade to be the ambassador to Beijing."

[snip]Gingrich also said that in his own newsletter, he refers to a Chinese professor "who says openly in a class in Shanghai we have friends in high places" and that "everything will be great again" with President Donald Trump out of office.

Americans should also be outraged over censorship by big tech, including on the Hunter Biden investigation, said Gingrich.

Such an incident could be a part of larger problem, a power struggle. Almost all powerful communist officials have their mistress. Really powerful ones have as their mistress top entertainers like Fan Bing Bing or an attractive CCTV(China Central TV) news presenter. When a power struggle erupts between them, the first attack usually starts with seedy aspects of their political enemy. So their mistress could be hurled in and subject to a harsh investigation to confess.

It is also possible that the issue is purely her personal problem. Getting too wealthy and becoming "arrogant". No longer deferring to powerful officials and going her own way.

If FDR had died a year earlier, Henry Wallace would have become President. He was, at best, naive about the Soviet Union. In 1948 when he was the candidate of the Progressive Party, the American Communist Party was rooting for him. (Apparently he later wised up.) If he had been in office in Nov. 1944, who's to say whether he or Dewey would have won, but if Wallace had been the US President in the years right after the war, the Soviets might have gained much greater leverage in Europe than they did. Truman, for all his faults, did not want the Soviets to take over any more countries.

Biden with his pro-China views may be a more dangerous person to be in the White House than Henry Wallace would have been right after WWII. The USSR had been devastated by the war and did not get its first atomic bomb until 1949, whereas China is a great military power.
