In November of 2019, CBS 2 interviewed Anjanette Young for the first time. A social worker and active in her church, Young had a jarring and traumatic story to tell: she told us her safest place – her home – was invaded that February.
We quickly learned she was the latest victim in a pattern of wrong raids by the Chicago Police Department, uncovered by our team as part of its two-year series. But the story was different than others we reported in the past. Young said during the wrong raid, police entered the home and handcuffed her, all while she was naked. She was humiliated, terrified – and with the exception of a team of male officers – alone.

Ms. Young obtained body cam video via the Freedom of Information Act; the city of Chicago sued to prevent publication.
Even if Miss Young were a known criminal the cops had no business treating her that way. It's a disgrace.

And these guys will do what they are told, none are going to risk their 100K a year pension to help you when they are ordered to destroy Trump supporters, think about it.
She should sue the police department, the CI and the idiot judge that issued the warrant.
It’s much safer to arrest law-abiding citizens than actual criminals.

Agreed. But get rid of welfare too. Too many of us libertarians are sole focused on legalizing drugs, which I’m for, and you ignoring the end result of legalized drugs is more people needing welfare.
The ultimate war on drugs is what we had before the welfare state: people experiencing the natural consequences of bad decisions and learning from them.
When someone invades your home, you have the right to defend yourself, with deadly force, if necessary. The wrongful invaders will shoot back and kill you. Thus the government has the power to kill you without consequence.

The factual element is some real life Chicago police are too stupid to do it right.
Elsewhere, some mistaken addrsess shooting of a place next door in some city was in the news a while ago. And locally police shot some rounds that went through the thin apartment walls and hurt the innocent neighbors and the cops found out the original bad guy listed at the first apartment was actually out of town, anyway. Be careful, guys.
