Many years ago I was in LE for several years and throughout the years since I have known and supported law enforcement officers. I have great respect for them.
What you see in the subject story is not what policing is all about. At least, that which we see in the words of this particular story. Urban police have their unique problems, as we see in Chicago.
Good police officers guarantee an orderly society. They combat community enemies - robbers, murders, all kinds of criminals.
They don’t stifle freedom. They assure citizens can freely exercise their right to freedom.
Three more words: "She'd be dead!"
Black social worker, bunch of white cops, wrong address — yes, her lawyer will make out big.
Heck, if she had just told them she had a house full of hacked Dominion voting machines and blank Biden ballots, they would have left in a hurry.
Right. And the taxpayers take the hit yet again.
I'd like to see the people responsible held personally responsible.

Been pro police all my life, but now they stand idly, watching blue lives matter protesters beaten and killed by leftist rioters and DO NOTHING. One of us defends ourselves from said rioters and we’re taken away in chains immediately.
Police are the enemy and should no longer be trusted or spoken to. They are obedient little dogs for their antifa masters, but have the biggest balls around when dealing with unarmed, law abiding citizens, the disgusting, cowardly traitors.

I hate to have to say it, but the key phrase in your post is “many years ago“.
Cops in the old days were peace officers. I was never a cop, but I did work university security for a few years back in the 1970s. I got to know quite a few city cops. Tough guys, but good guys. Peace officers.
Today’s cops are law enforcement officers. Not peace officers. Enforcement officers.
Come on everyone. Jump on the back the blue bandwagon. Cops good, BLM/Antifa bad. See it’s so simple. Well except when the cops shoot dogs, raid random houses, protect Democrats and punish conservatives, watch old people being attacked, release bombers while incarcerating home defenders (or worse Kyle) ... I don’t back the blue or the red communists. They are all playing for the same team - big nanny deal state.

Judge had absolute immunity.
I would be smiling the whole time, sitting naked in handcuffs in my own home. Then spend the rest of my life patiently hunting them all down.
