A Queens woman accused of driving into pedestrians at a protest in Midtown Manhattan was issued no more than a desk appearance ticket and released within hours of the shocking incident, police said Saturday. Kathleen Casillo, 52, was charged with reckless endangerment for the Friday incident in which she was caught on video plowing into people in the street, authorities said. She is due back in court Feb. 22.

I see her windshield got broken during the good deed. The streetwalkers should be charged with the crime of negligence with damage to private property.
Good that the cops didn’t do anything really serious to her. I saw the BLM people pounding on her car and trying to stop it and she panicked.
Since her name was published, we can be certain she’s now on the BLM hit list.

If you were protesting and stopped my car, banging on it and harassing me, you'd get a nice round hole in your head and not have to worry about a car hitting you.

Once the glass is breached, I’d say she’s acting in self-defense. I’m willing to confront people in a vehicle, if need be, but I stay out of potential lines of travel. That’s just good sense. Seems lacking in these “protestors.”
Pounding on the vehicle, if a person is inside the vehicle is considered an assault on the person and can be handled accordingly.

Terrorists should not be using force to block the free passage of decent Americans. Even America’s enemies have the right to freedom of speech. They have no right to compel productive people to listen. I’m okay with using any necessary force to escape when thugs illegally detain normal people against our will.
Probably both. They were pounding on her car when she was driving through slowly and then she accelerated. But it looked like she was just trying to get out of there, since, needless to say, there were no police in sight.
Apparently BLM has a free pass to do whatever they want.

What do you mean by that? They were attacking her. She is in the right. I am surprised they didn’t hold her without bail.
