The lynchpin here is the bipartisan nature of Never Trumpism. The 4 years of coup never happens without top cover from the GOP. GOP judges would never have abandoned POTUS to this extant on the steal without constant undermining from the GOP. They got the message loud and clear: get rid of Trump.
If the only power we now have is to burn down the GOP wing of the Uniparty so be it. The GOP has proven in the Age of Trump they are a malignant force in American politics. Nothing will get better until we have an opposition party to the progressive-corportist alliance.
