I am looking for the temperament in a slightly smaller package. My dream dog would be an older English shepherd about 3 or 4 with no bad habits, but they are rare. The only one u could find was in bc and we just couldn’t get him to the northeast.

My mom, who grew up afraid of dogs, talked baby talk to that little dog and gave her treats.

My wife was never a dog person until we got a Corgi. We'd had a Black Lab before, but the dog was huge and was always getting into mischief. Our Corgis have been intelligent, well-behaved and fun to be around. They are also excellent watch dogs. They sound like a much bigger dog when they bark.

There is something loveable about these little short-legged dogs. I love watching him sleep on his back on his bed.

That was a line from a movie about patriots - I can’t remember the name.

But her reaction reminds me of the crazy PETA supporters who scream bloody murder at anything about animal abuse, but are OK with abortion.

I wonder how they would feel about sucking out puppies before birth?
