The U.S. economy added 245,000 jobs in November and the unemployment rate ticked down to 6.7 percent, according to data released Friday.
Economists surveyed by Econoday had forecast 500,000 jobs and a decline in the unemployment rate to 6.8 percent, one-tenth of a percent October’s 6.9 percent.

Small business sentiment is the most negative it’s been on record. They are the machine that drives job creation in the US.
Business I know that have survived Covid do not feel optimistic for the future under Biden.
Why hire when the country is being told by the media that Biden won and taxes, regulations and the price of energy are therefore going up? It doesn’t help that the putative next VP is a socialist.

California’s King Gavin I has just announced another lockdown which will push many small businesses under. I know of a personal tragedy that is unfolding. Early in the year, a waitress who worked for years at a restaurant was thrilled and filled with joy when she was able to purchase it and run it herself. Now, although she offers a product and services that people want, the government is about to force her out of business.
I believe one of the goals of the lockdowns is to destroy small business thus destroying the middle class.
