Democrat California Gov. Newsom Ignores SCOTUS, Doubles Down on Worship Restrictions

The United States Supreme Court rebuked Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for lockdowns imposed on houses of worship, but Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom is ignoring the high court’s lifting of restrictions in New York and is doubling down on his coronavirus lockdowns on religious gatherings.

Newsom has informed the court that his actions are justified by the increase in virus cases and the “perils” of indoor gatherings where people sing or chant.

“California is experiencing an unprecedented surge in COVID-19 cases, creating an even greater public health need for restrictions on prolonged communal gatherings in indoor places,” California Attorney General Xavier Becerra’s office said in a filing opposing a church group’s request for restrictions to be lifted.

Second SCOTUS nullification. Now becoming irrelevant until the HarrisBiden ascension and the packing of the court which will make it relevant again.

If a state is in rebellion it can be stripped of its electors. Take away California’s 55 electoral votes from Biden immediately.

The NY SCOTUS Decision was based on an equal protection argument...Gov’t can’t allow one religious group to congregate and disallow it for another, If you allow it for one, it must be allowed for all. That’s basically why Cuomo’s order was found unconstitutional.

The decision wasn’t just limited to equal treatment between just churches. The court said NY can’t allow other businesses to allow indoor groups while singling out churches for more restrictive conditions in a purely arbitrary manner.
