President Donald Trump’s legal team has called for the Pennsylvania state Senate not to certify the election results, potentially opening up a path for the GOP to send their own electors to the Electoral College.
“You are the best constitutionally-invested entity to do that,” said Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis at a GOP-held event in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. “You have a variety of options in front of you.”
Ellis then suggested that the state legislature has “the constitutional authority and permission” to vote against certifying the election.
One possible avenue, she said, is to call for a special election. Ellis also suggested that “you can direct the manner of your electors … one option should not be to ignore it and certify a corrupted, irredeemably compromised election.”
It’s unclear at this point what the state Senate and House, which are both controlled by Republicans, will do at this point. The Electoral College meets to vote on the election on Dec. 14.
During the hearing, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s attorney, alleged that nearly 700,000 votes in Pennsylvania should be thrown out.

Giuliani is one of, if not, the greatest attorneys in the United States snd he is on the right path. Just toss the Biden votes in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and then recount the entire state.
Pennsylvania certified their election results several days ago.
By the state or the Senate?.
A judge put a stop to certification yesterday.
Kamala Harris had a rally in Las Vegas where nobody, NOBODY, showed up, but the Biden Harris ticket received 80,000,000 votes?

What everyone is overlooking is that since the hearing in PA on last Wednesday, they are working on action in the PA legislature that will void the certification and let them send the electors they choose to the electoral college, or void the state election altogether. Neither one of these actions depend upon a signature from the rat governor or the secretary of state.
Stuff like this is what ticks me off. Humongous and complex laws are written by - not legislators, but their staff and in most cases by the SUPPLIERS! - and they weasel word stuff like this section about electronic voting systems in PA:
“shall be constructed so that every person is precluded from tampering with the tabulating element during the course of its operation.”
PA legislators went home and slept well that night, thinking they had done diligence in protecting their elections. While the insiders simply added algorithms to the software that automatically “tampered” without any “person” being involved.
Fully compliant with the law, totally fraudulent.
No, he said to the extent it’s not certified they should hold off certifying it further. But there was no extent to which it was not certified. It’s done. The big top has closed down and the circus has left town.
There is no official certification for Biden in PA; just because officials that claim they can certify the election but cannot claim to have done so does not make certification happen. Don’t know where you’re getting your “news” from.
Only thing that concerns me about that is trusting that the legislators have the balls. They know that antifa/blm are going to riot and will visit them at their homes, dox their kids etc.
Trump’s decision to not stamp out the summer riots may not have been the best plan. That instilled fear into the repub pols and may affect the decision making of judges, “for the good of the country”.
For months, the left was allowed to say; “Nice house you got there. Would be a shame to see it burn.”
it is a nonbinding resolution and only a first step. some of the talk may be gladhandling. time will tell.

That’s like blaming the gun instead of the shooter. The courts will not see it that way.
The state legislature has the final certification say. If they will step up to the plate they will cleanse the fraudulent ( rigged) vote by naming the Trump electors
..........not more than a week or so ago no less a public figure than the Pennsylvania Speaker of the House reportedly said the fighting words “No Audit, No Certification”.
I watched the full 3 hour hearing yesterday of the Pennsylvania Senate. It was clear to me that they were going to move to Not Certify. Since the Republicans control both houses in Pennsylvania, that’s probably a done deal.
Joe, you have some cards to trade for a Pardon this week. You may not next week. As Kenny Rogers famously said........”you got to know when to hold em and when to fold em”.
I disagree. For the State that avenue might work, but the Federal election has no do over clause.
There is one election day and that is it.
And for sure you saw the debate with her and Pence.
