Andrew Cuomo Calls Supreme Court’s Church Lockdown Ruling ‘Irrelevant’

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo bitterly dismissed the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling against his coronavirus restrictions on religious services, claiming the decision is “irrelevant.”

On Wednesday evening, the high court ruled in favor 5-4 with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn and Orthodox Jewish synagogues in their lawsuit alleging Cuomo’s gathering restrictions, which limited house of worship attendance from 10 to 25 people, violated religious freedom under the First Amendment.

“The Supreme Court made a ruling. It’s more illustrative of the Supreme Court than anything else,” Cuomo told reporters on a conference call, the New York Post said. “It’s irrelevant of any practical impact because of the zone they were talking about is moot. It expired last week.”

“It doesn’t have any practical effect,” he added. “The lawsuit was about the Brooklyn zone. The Brooklyn zone no longer exists as a red zone. That’s muted. So that restriction is no longer in effect. That situation just doesn’t exist because those restrictions are gone.”

Newly-confirmed Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett sided with the bench’s conservative justices. Chief Justice John Roberts sided with liberal Justices Stephen Breyer, Elena Kagan, and Sonia Sotomayor.

The court said in an unsigned opinion that stemming the spread of the deadly and infectious coronavirus is compelling public interest, but the measures affecting places of worship are far more restrictive than measures seen in other cases that have come before the justices and tighter than those applied to worse-hit areas.

One step closer to armed confrontation.

Next time this Cuomo a$$hat tries to shut down a church , he will be met with ecclesiastical security, likely armed.

Cuomo will bite the bullet if he keeps it up.

Having killed 6000 geriatric patients in elder care homes, he has a few enemies. His arrogance makes him a prime target.

I think he is under the control of demons. I don't think he is possessed, but one of their puppets.

One interesting footnote: I listened to an interview with the late Father Malachi Martin, author of the book "Hostage to the Devil." That book is one of the most terrifying things you will ever read.

I recommend not reading it alone on a dark night.

Martin said in the interview (recorded in the mid 1990s) that there were prominent families in the world who were generationally involved in Satanism. He also said that many prominent people in America had made "deals" with Satan. He said: "None of them are obscure", and said many were judges, politicians, actors, and prominent businessmen. He coined a term: "perfectly possessed." What he meant was that the soul of that person had willingly allowed the demonic to take control, in exchange for power, money, sex, fame, etc. Satan can grant someone all of those things - at a horrendous price.

I am 100% certain that many of the faces we see everyday on the news are part of that crowd.

“I think he is under the control of demons. I don’t think he is possessed, but one of their puppets.”

Probably not actually possessed, but definitely there’s demonic influence going on there. Ditto for most of the RATs whose actions are not human in any way. Although, sometimes in the eyes, it doesn’t seem like there’s a human looking back out.

One who scares the crap out of me is that Ilhan Omar. I think possession is a thing there.

“there were prominent families in the world who were generationally involved in Satanism. “

In one of Lin Wood’s interviews, he specifically stated Satan worship and pedophilia were involved in the lives of some of the politicians he’s been researching. Not sure, but it may have been specific to Georgia.

I believe Cuomo quickly "lightened up" on his lockdown specific to churches and synagogues as soon as he heard it was going to court. He thought they couldn't/wouldn't rule....but they did.

May be irrelevant in his little mind but the big picture says he'll never be church specific again.

From a county in Upstate NY....

Chemung Co. officials: County is 'not close' to leaving orange zone

It's all bad news, but pay special attention to the bit about Cuomo blowing the county off and refusing to respond to its letter.

If the Supreme Court reverses it’s “Creation” of Qualified Immunity imposed on the Public in 1982, Every Person harmed from Cuomo’s Unlawful Edicts can SUE HIM PERSONALLY!!!

“Cuomo tried to play the court by changing the restriction before the ruling and then claiming the case was moot since the restrictions were changed. This is what he meant by saying the ruling was irreverent.”

NY tried the same thing and won with gun restrictions but that was with RBG. We need to start a campaign along the lines of “What is Roberts Guilty of?”.

“Cuomo tried to play the court by changing the restriction before the ruling and then claiming the case was moot since the restrictions were changed. This is what he meant by saying the ruling was irreverent...However, I believe the court noted that since he quickly changed the restriction before the ruling he could just as quickly put them back in place if the court had not ruled they were too restrictive.

Actually that stunt worked great for NY early this year when a gun control case was about to be overturned by the Supreme Court. In that case, they pulled there was no law (since they changed it a week earlier), and that was good enough for Roberts to deny cert. Not so lucky this time.

“Andrew Cuomo Calls Supreme Court’s Church Lockdown Ruling ‘Irrelevant’”

Actually it is quite relevant. The ruling means that Jews will be allowed to meet, despite the edict of a Fascist government. Something that wasn’t allowed 100 years ago in Europe.

Also, keep in mind that if enough Republicans sit out the Georgia runoffs to ‘send a message’ to the GOP, then Amy will be POWERLESS to rule in our favor, as the Democrats will be able to STACK THE COURTS.

But I know, I know, so-and-so Republican is a RINO, so it’s more important to hand the Courts back to the Democrats, than to win cases like these - you know, to SEND A MESSAGE. Right?

I think you are missing the point. People will be sitting out not to “send a messahe”, but rather because voting will be pointless. If they are allowed to blatantly “fix” this election right before everyone’s eyes, then they can also “fix: every future election. Voting becomes unnessary.

I guess we can help the Democrats in making elections pointless by removing their need to cheat.

(and I guess I better keep posting my diatribes)
