New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo bitterly dismissed the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling against his coronavirus restrictions on religious services, claiming the decision is “irrelevant.”
On Wednesday evening, the high court ruled in favor 5-4 with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn and Orthodox Jewish synagogues in their lawsuit alleging Cuomo’s gathering restrictions, which limited house of worship attendance from 10 to 25 people, violated religious freedom under the First Amendment.
“The Supreme Court made a ruling. It’s more illustrative of the Supreme Court than anything else,” Cuomo told reporters on a conference call, the New York Post said. “It’s irrelevant of any practical impact because of the zone they were talking about is moot. It expired last week.”
“It doesn’t have any practical effect,” he added. “The lawsuit was about the Brooklyn zone. The Brooklyn zone no longer exists as a red zone. That’s muted. So that restriction is no longer in effect. That situation just doesn’t exist because those restrictions are gone.”
Newly-confirmed Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett sided with the bench’s conservative justices. Chief Justice John Roberts sided with liberal Justices Stephen Breyer, Elena Kagan, and Sonia Sotomayor.
The court said in an unsigned opinion that stemming the spread of the deadly and infectious coronavirus is compelling public interest, but the measures affecting places of worship are far more restrictive than measures seen in other cases that have come before the justices and tighter than those applied to worse-hit areas.

Class Action Lawsuits for his past actions, and against all politicians who have curbed our Constitutional Rights, including freedom of assembly. Need some smart lawyers to get this ball rolling. Lawyers can keep all the money as far as I’m concerned.

Did Cuomo also note that any concerns about Nursing Care Residents based on his policies are now moot? It’s irrelevant of any practical impact because the deceased no longer exist as living human beings. They are moot.
You can see the evil and cruelty in this man’s eyes. He hates Christians but he seems especially venomous towards Jews.
Again, democrats only use government to control their enemies. For themselves, they ignore government and government ignores them. That is why the DOJ has no overt investigations into all of the election frauds that happened this election. Any secret investigation, if it even exists, will disappear as soon as it can.
We need no further proof of the deep state than this election. President Trump did well to drain the swamp but the swamp is vast and deep and goes well beyond the walls in Washington DC and into many parts of the country.

Cuomo tried to play the court by changing the restriction before the ruling and then claiming the case was moot since the restrictions were changed. This is what he meant by saying the ruling was irreverent.
However, I believe the court noted that since he quickly changed the restriction before the ruling he could just as quickly put them back in place if the court had not ruled they were too restrictive.
Cuomo is doing what all Democrats do, trying to game the system to do what ever they want regardless of what the voters (or in this case, the courts) want.
Keep talking tough Cuomo, and perhaps the Supreme Court will prove just how relevant they still are. Can you say 5-4 ruling to overturn election? I knew that you could.
