WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Thursday that he will leave the White House if the Electoral College formalizes President-Elect Joe Biden’s victory — even as he insisted such a decision would be a “mistake” — as he spent his Thanksgiving renewing baseless claims that “massive fraud” and crooked officials in battleground states caused his election defeat.
“Certainly I will. But you know that,” Trump said Thursday when asked whether he would vacate the building, allowing a peaceful transition of power in January. But Trump — taking questions for the first time since Election Day — insisted that “a lot of things” would happen between now and then that might alter the results.

He might surprise us here. Because putting Biden & his gang in could mean packing the court. The “leftists” that control Biden are dead serious about doing that. If that would happen the USSC’s clout, position & prestige would greatly diminish. It would diminish the whole federal court system. USSC would be just the last rubber stamp to a run away legislature. They all know that ! I guarantee Roberts knows that. I can’t see Roberts doing something that would diminish the court’s prestige and his own.

Yes, I’m getting irritated at the legacy media forcing “President-Elect” into every reference to Biden, and then acting like we are pedantic when we point out he hasn’t been elected to anything yet.
It goes along with the notion that a direct popular vote is the normal method of electing a President, when only a few countries choose their chief executives that way. France, Mexico, and Russia are the only that come to mind.
If the courts are operating openly and freely then why would it be impractical for them to handle the matter?
The President has much leeway in deciding when to invoke the act and what measures he can take.

He has already sai he will fight to the Supreme Court. He has just said he will move out if there is no resolution in his favor on the appointed date.

I hope Trump has become politically astute enough --or has advisors that are -- to know that the election is not finalized until Jan 6th, one day after the new congress is seated.
The Electoral College meets in early December, I believe the 12th or 15th
At which time the electors, who are chosen by the 50 states' congresses, vote for the winner of the election.
Then the results are sent to the United States congress, and they are read Jan 6th.
It's my understanding that the winner will not be known until that time.
We must bear in mind that electors do not always vote the way that they indicate early on.

It is going to be a dramatic six weeks ahead, strong resistance is needed because the Democrats are basically a criminal organization as well as being entirely unpatriotic, Biden’s bluster about no red or blue states is meaningless drivel, and if we confront the stark facts of who voted for him ...

... about a quarter are dupes, people who went along with some aspect of Biden’s policy set on some false premise that it would lead to a good outcome, and

There is nothing in that mixture that says anything remotely good about a Biden administration. The Obama years were a chance to experiment with boundaries and probe the limits. The Biden-Harris years (mostly Harris after a few months, I suspect) would be all-out deconstruction of the American enterprise, a sort of time run backwards mirror image of the Revolution.
