I also recommend his first book in the series, “12 Rules for Life”.
I haven’t read his book “Maps of Meaning”, but I know it is similar to Joseph Campbell’s works.
I have found him to be calm, thoughtful, and articulate.

Agreed. And he made a great point about that: if they can control what pronouns you use, they can control every other word you use for the same emotional / ideological reasons.
