But you have to understand what a pardon means.

What “cemented” the unfortunate reality that Flynn did something wrong was his guilty plea.

Not at all. To believe that, you have to believe that his conviction was an honest outworking of the judicial process. It was corrupt from the onset.

If Trump fails in his efforts to overcome fraud I would not be surprised if Trump were to resign the Presidency before 1/19 and have Pence pardon him for any and all to prevent the DoJ witch hunts sought by Holder and others.

Trump may appoint Flynn as a temp, but the Senate is unlikely, to highly unlikely, allow a permanent Flynn appointment to anything.
Flynn’s record is messed up due to criminal conspiracy, fraud, fraud on the courts, illegal uasking/taps, suborning perjury, and all to carry out a very real international Coup’d’Etat effort, however, as with Bush 43, Trump has either backed away from (knowing he would lose, or receiving bad advice), or been outright denied non-SSCI approved IC and DOJ agency heads for the most part.
SSCI is precisely why Session’s stabbed Trump in the back, and why Trump has Barr.
Barr was recommended by SSCI to Trump, as the “compromise”. It is also why other agencies have not been really cleaned out, as the “bi-partison” (Uniparty) threats were stacked in the Senate, largely because of inter-SSCI IC influence. This includes the Turtle, Burr, Warner, Feinstein, etc, etc...

I hadn’t seen any signs of Sullivan budging—or being forced to budge.
He shouldn’t have needed a pardon.
