It's all on a server somewhere now -- the conversations between attorney and client, the conversations between attorney and attorney, the conversations between attorney and judge in chambers. I’m surprised that fox settled out of court since it’s unlikely they would have lost the case if it went to trial though maybe they just found it distasteful to get sued by the parents of a dead guy. Makes the parents seem like shakedown artists which I would hope isn’t the case .

Issues between private citizens should be private. You really don’t want that to change. You might think you do...but the courts would be backed up for ages, and companies would be bankrupt because of the trade secrets exposed.
Given Ted was responsible for her death... What is a child worth to parents? I would subtract from that money the value a child can give to parents in their old age. They did not get rich.

None of the cases you cite are criminal. None of the people you cite would have been able to contribute to a criminal case as they were not witnesses.
I understand your point, but you are talking about obstruction of justice...and that is not applicable in these cases.
It wasn’t just the money. The parents went along with the cover up. Unless Kennedy confessed to them what really happened, which I cannot believe, they chose not to know.
If that had been my child, there would have been no amount of money, no place Kennedy could have hidden from me until I had gotten justice for her.
