Gov. Gavin Newsom and his family will spend Thanksgiving in quarantine after his children were exposed in two separate incidents to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, cases that the governor said Monday prompted an informal lockdown of his Fair Oaks estate over the weekend...
The governor's office said Friday night that one of Newsom's children was exposed to a classmate with the virus at the children's Sacramento private school, which resumed in-person instruction this month. Newsom's team did not immediately disclose the exposure from the CHP officer and instead waited to announce the family-wide quarantine until after test results came back negative Sunday evening...

California Gov Gavin Newsome will be in quarantine for 14 days after 3 of his children were exposed to a positive COVID-19 Cal Hwy Patrol officer. They tested negative but will still quarantine.
They can just sleep at the French Laundry so all their meals can be provided.

1/2 Because Yountville is my hometown..and where the French Laundry is located...I thought I’d do some digging. Facts about the Newsom dinner. The bar bill was around 15-thousand. 22 people in attendance, not 12. No masks. All indoors. They got so loud, other patrons complained

2/2 There was “zero effort” to go outside and there was no social distancing of any type. I’m also told some of those there are now privately laughing at the controversy. Remember this is my little hometown. The walls speak.
I’ve been to Yountville. It’s a blink and miss town (very cute, but VERY small). Interested to see what Adam Housley further digs up.
Something about Newsom making himself and his family victims right now smells like SHEET...or LAUNDRY.
Yup...very few secrets in a small town.
why would they go there ? is it close to where they live or an attempt to hide the party
Totally obnoxious. It’s just so in-your-face.
They could have probably gotten away with having a posh event at somebody’s mansion, oh, but then it’s not THE French Laundry, look at us!

Isn’t it a hoity toity restaurant? Our “betters” like those.
Years ago there was a little grocery place or market ( Yountville Grocery ?) We used to love to look around there. Probably not to far from the French Laundry. It has been a long time for us.
The French Laundry is regarded as one of the top restaurants in the US. Reservations need to be made many months in advance, super expensive.
The French Laundry costs $350 per person to dine and there are two set menus, the Chef’s Tasting (meat and seafood) and the Tasting of Vegetables. It’s 9 courses, not including the opening “appetizers”, aka Amuse Bouche.Jun 27, 2018
wine menu. to have a 15k cost there had to be a lot of drinking

How lucky for
@GavinNewsom
that he got his $50,000 lobbyist-funded French Laundry dinner in before additional restrictions came in
