If you go back far enough, almost everyone is connected to slavery somehow. There were slaves in Europe in the early Middle Ages. How can you prove that none of your ancestors were among their owners?
Barack Obama's mother's ancestors were slaveholders in the US. Is he on their list of tainted people?

Kamala Harris is getting nervous.

Who cares? Only white people feel guilty about this stuff. Maybe they will learn not to. Some ancestor owned a slave like millions of others have over time. So what?

That’s a bit extreme. I think he should just be publicly humiliated, as was done in Maoist China. They could even make him wear a sign that says how evil his family is. Yep, that should do it.

Probably a college professor, judging by the gap between him and the “protestors”. He probably flunked the leader.

If you go back far enough, almost everyone is connected to slavery somehow. My third-great grandfather from Tennessee applied for a pension as result of his service in the Cherokee War. I don't know he owned slaves or served along side Elizabeth Warren's ancestor.

There is a lesson old-time liberals should learn from this story (but they won’t).
And this lesson is this: The old-time liberals will not be safe should the Revolution come. The radical left will drag them to the guillotine just as gleefully as they would drag conservatives.

Somebody needs to check out Jersey’s “poet laureate”.
Springsteen is a Dutch name and they were deep in slavery.

No, the six or seven years working as a peasant in the paddies follows the public humiliation.

Collective guilt like this is unfair - and used to justify systemic oppression.
