It’s really nice to have autumn this year. We’ve had a couple of cold snaps to remind us that winter’s close by but mostly nice enough weather to be able to enjoy heading outside. It would be nice to get some rain because we’re awfully dry.

Still have a few lamps to go but I’m making progress. I’ll be heading off to clean a little more shortly.

Rain would be very welcome here, too but there is none in sight. Still haven’t had any since June. Just a teensy bit of melted snow from whenever it was it snowed. LOL! Can’t even remember that now.

It’s slow going on the lamps but will be well worth your effort. Tiffany lamps are gorgeous!

Yeah, you need rain worse than we do. It would be nice if we could both get some.

We won’t get much Sunday but have a better chance Wed. into Thurs.

It is painfully slow going on the lamps, having to clean each little piece of glass individually but they look so much better when I’m done. I just wish there weren’t so many! And there are at least 4 ceiling lights to take out of Hubby’s cousin’s house. *sigh*

Some work and a couple errands. Need more duck food...probably close to a 100 just now in my backyard.

They said a tenth of an inch is all to expect Sunday and that means we probably won’t get any.
Wed. is our best shot and it won’t be a whole lot. They’ll get a good dose west of us but by the time the front gets here, the rain will be used up. That’s how it always seems to work. We’ll take what we can get.

So I am in Prescott Az at Thanksgiving visiting my cousin Bill who is my big brother I never had (we were both the eldest juniors) and we are 4 wheeling in the Prescott national forest, Bill decides let’s explore this old gold mine.

I go in so far and its wet and dark and I’m stumbing over
God knows what.

I say Bill this is crazy,
I’m going out for a ciggie.

About a half hour later, Bill emerges from the mine, yells Junior! and throws a 1/4 stick of crystallized dynamite at me.

Best damn Thanksgiving ever! LOL
