Florida Sen. Rick Scott has tested positive for COVID-19, he said Friday, as he advised Americans to “wear a mask.”

The GOP lawmaker said he was diagnosed with the bug Friday morning after several negative tests.

“I’m feeling good & experiencing very mild symptoms,” he tweeted. “I’ll be working from home until it’s safe for me to return to DC. I remind everyone to be careful & do the right things to protect yourselves & others.”

Seems a huge number of people have mild symptoms and its done. My cousin who had a heart transplant, is overweight, smokes, and drinks tested positive and has mild symptoms and is just fine.

Nothing makes sense anymore.

I am age 80, got infected on Carnival cruise, had very mild symptoms, recovered completely, and now I am freewheeling with all my usual activities, and no more symptoms, no more sickness. I am assuming must have acquired immunity and now after 100 visits to Walmart no more infection.

By my count, more than a hundred prominent government figures, including Trump’s security, have tested positive for COVID-19.

Not one I know have been hospitalized or died from it ( Ok, fat Chris Christie briefly stayed in the hospital).

This in effect amounts to a 2 week vacation.

Not necessary. If Rick Scott is in good health, he will have no sickness from covid-19. And in due time his body will kill off any virus cells lurking in his body.

That is exactly what happened to me from the packed Carnival cruise ship Ecstacy ending on Feb 29 of this year. Had a strange dry cough for 10-12 days after cruise ended, that went away on its own without any medications. And now I must be immune because I am doing every normal activities including hundreds of visits to grocery stores, restaurants, gym, beaches and cancer hospital for wife. Not even a hint of any symptoms.

Why have NONE of the Ds had covid?
If they have had it, why have they kept it quiet?
One would think the whole “wear a mask speech” would have more weight if it came from someone who had covid, yet none of them have had it, OR they’ve kept quiet.
I strongly suspect they’ve had access to quick acting meds that the rest of us do not have.

I only know 4 people that have gotten it. All mid 70’s, all said it just made them sleep a lot. And all of them actually seemed real happy about it, overall, since they don’t have to worry about all the precautionary BS anymore, at least not anytime soon.

Not so. Age and preexisting conditions explain a lot. One preexisting condition that nobody wants to discuss must surely be HIV+ and other immune disorders.

Everyone I know who has actually gotten this only had mild symptoms for a few days. Even my friend’s 94 year old father.

I do believe some are dying of it - just like some are dying of the flu.

Remember those millions of doses donated to the USA from India? It’s likely the communist RATs have all been on it starting a week before their CCP-colluded planned virus release date. Fauxi didn’t pour millions of tax-payer dollars into the CCP bioweapons lab over there for nothing.

There is some research that points to false positives measuring fragments of virus RNA that remain in the body for months after infection. These fragments are harmless, as the virus is dead. These positive tests are simply lumped in with active "cases". Could be a reason for the "surge" the media is freaking out over.
