Here's why mouthwash is not going to save you from coronavirus
cnn ^ | 11/17/2020 | Maggie Fox

It's trending on social media and generating excited media reports -- another study showing an ingredient found in mouthwash can kill the coronavirus. In this case, it's as fast as 30 seconds.

But mouthwash is unlikely to ever be a solution to the pandemic, or even someone's own personal protection plan. That's because many things can kill a virus on contact, but they're not going to stop the source of the virus. "Yes. There is some data out there -- I am not saying it's great data -- that fill-in-the-blank substance inactivates or inhibits replication of coronavirus," Dr. Graham Snyder, associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, told CNN.

This is amazing. Every possible remedy that shows even a hint of promise (Zinc, Vitamins C and E, Xylitol, Nicotine) are IMMEDIATELY dismissed by the MSM. You will only consume what we tell you, comrade, or the VID will kill you, your family, your extended family, your unborn children, your second cousin thrice removed, your neighbor’s dog, and the garbageman.

If this does not work they should let people try it anyway. The end result is fewer people with bad breath and that is a good thing.

Yep. Plus we continue to hear about the racism of your healthcare system and country because more blacks come down with it than whites—without consideration of the vitamin D deficiencies so common among African Americans—and the need for supplements.

We’ve been consuming products of dubious efficacy for generations. The fact that the MSM is immediately dismissive is very suspicious to me.

OTOH, “Mask mouth” is real. Breathing back your own carbon dioxide all day hurts your dental hygiene and increases bad breath.

is there any doubt now that the MSM, the clowns,
CDC, and FauXi want the vaccines (royalties)
to flow. THEY own the patent, and all who make
vaccines must pay FauXi and his protectors at CDC.

No wonder they whacked the CEO and his wife who
made HCQ.

Inquiring minds ask: WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?

I'd guess that the way you get a virus - any virus - is typically through the mouth/nose. Whatever limited protection mouthwash might provide probably comes from the alcohol in the mouthwash killing the virus in your mouth/throat/nasal passages (as you exhale after use).

Me, I use mouthwash every day, have for years. However, for added protection I've been skipping, well substituting other additives and delivery mechanisms for the alcohol. Rather than gargle with mouthwash a "few" sips of good whiskey seems to be equally effective. I'm CV free. In fact I've remained healthy all year even as 6 or 8 people around me have fought off colds and such.

Come to think of it, I'm running a little low on "supplies" - time to go restock, maybe today. For medicinal purposes of course...

As an old submariner, I can tell you the joys of to much CO2,
as a old guy with failing lungs that wont get rid of CO2 as well, but the CO2 = global warming thing is BS

This kind of article hacks me off. Reducing viral load is important. Mouthwash may do it. Pvp iodine may do it.

I am using both when i come home.

Put pvp iodine in a nasal spray. They also make swabs

I wouldnt want to do iodine everyday for fear of screwing up my nose but for my purpose..i do it because i seldom go out

The tested ingredient for covid has been tested before for other virus and has worked.

Before covid..a shot of whiskey with manuka honey was part of my winter regimen

“Here’s why” and similar phrases are MSM for “advance notice: this is propaganda.”

Interesting. I’ve heard it is beneficial to use natural honey produced near where you live. Something about local bees/plants and allergens, so I buy all my honey locally. I could see having honey on toast in the morning and a shot of whiskey in the evening...

Yes. Local honey for allergies

Real manuka honey... And there are a lot of scams..was something i used years ago for a cancer patient with bed sores. It worked.

I continued using it since for its special properties. Both internal and external

It looks like my daily 30 min treadmill routine is saving me from covid-19. The carnival cruise failed, my 100 store visits since the cruise in February did not get me sick, and even the weekly visits to sea food restaurants (Florida is open) had no effect.

Conclusion: exercise causes lots of oxygen moving through lungs and is the best defense against all airborne viruses.
