Re-opening hatch for a leak check. Seems there was a small pressure drop during standard procedure check.

We love the space programs!

On a clear day/night we can see the space craft on ascent on the FL Gulf coast. For the last year of the space shuttle program, we drove over to KSC/Titusville to watch every launch.

Hatch closed again. Debris located in hatch seal. Debris will be identified later. Resumed pressure checks appear to be progressing without incident.

Thanks again for Discovery Channel info. Passed along to my tech challenged mother. She can say, "Discovery Channel" into her tv remote. She loves her space launches too.

Local weather looks to be a go at this time.

Glad to help.
Nighttime launch should be pretty cool.

I was in Florida in like ‘96 when they had a launch in the morning we saw from our hotel parking lot from Kissimmee.

Always regret we didn’t wake up early and see it closer.

Re: Elon Musk
Musk disclosed via Twitter that he “most likely” has
a moderate case of coronavirus, despite mixed test results. NASA
policy is for anyone testing positive for the virus to
quarantine and remain isolated.

Musk remained upbeat. “Astronaut launch today!” he tweeted on
Sunday morning, adding that he had symptoms last week but
currently felt “pretty normal”.

VP Pence is expected to attend the launch.

My new acronym for the week: FOD. Foreign Object Debris. The launch prep crew located FOD in the hatch seal.

Night launches are spectacular!

One night, around 9:00 PM, we decided to drive over for a late night launch. We arrived at US 1 about two minutes before launch. Parked the car on the shoulder, joined a group of watchers on the US1/A1A overpass, and viewed the amazingly brilliant launch. Got back into the car and drove home.

Watched another fantastic launch from Cocoa Beach. We are space launch groupies.

Thanks for starting a thread. I was going to but you beat me to it. I try to watch all of the spacex launches. They really seem to be dialed in (Boeing should be embarrassed). Currently watching on NASA TV but if anyone wants to watch on web it should be on http:www.spacex.com/webcast

Glad to assist. Seized the moment to get a launch thread up and running. It’s been a buggy day with the platform migration.

One of my favorite parts of these launches is watching two boosters land simultaneously.

I’ve never watched a launch live although I’ve watched on tv since Alan Shephard. Gonna do it sometime but want to make it a big one. Maybe Falcon Heavy or Super Heavy. Maybe SLS if they ever get it off the ground (I’m doubtful).
