Health officials have been warning about the need to limit gatherings amid the coronavirus pandemic but a new interactive tool drives home the point by showing the risks of catching the deadly bug at any given location, according to a report.
The peer-reviewed COVID-19 Risk Assessment Planning Tool, created by researchers at Georgia Tech, is designed to help people understand the risks associated with gatherings of different sizes throughout the US and around the glove, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Herd immunity
What a stupid waste of time.
I’ve been all over the country without a mask, though I had to eat peanuts during an entire flight to get the Karens in front of me to shut up about it (you don’t have to wear a mask on a plane while you are eating or drinking. I brought the peanuts just in case.)
The modern equivalent of the pet rock.

Look on the bright side. This project kept these scientists from manufacturing more fake Global Warming data, at least for awhile.
meaningless!
And how many cases are false? Numbers all invalid? People sent letters of their results who’ve never been tested? Dead people getting letters of results seven months after they’ve died? People being diagnosed with COVID who died of other causes even though they might have been infected.
*throughout the US and around the glove, *
watch out for those gloves
They will keep this up as long as they think they can get that 3 trillion dollar relief package
So in my town of 50,000 ppl 35 miles outside Phoenix, I have a 68% chance of catching it if I go to Walmart? Yeah...no. Im 67 with hypertension and I went there twice a month without a mask until July. I used hand sanitizer frequently during and after but never got sick. The weirdest thing is thats pry where I may have caught it back in mid March before they were doing any testing in AZ so maybe I was immune after that. Who TF knows?
Sounds about right.
I’m surprised you were allowed peanuts on a plane! Someone could have died from peanut allergies!

********
The data show that the bug is deadly only for a tiny minority. For the rest of us, it’s like a cold or the flu, if there are any symptoms at all.
Dear Ann: I don't wear gloves and rarely get near them. Am I safe from COVID? Do different types of gloves have different risks?
The app says I have a 99.9% chance of meeting somebody with COVID at an NFL game in Idaho.
Their app is seriously flawed. The real probability of meeting ANYBODY with or without COVID at an NFL game in Idaho is ZERO.
How come they never show risk based on your social behavior? Or would that focus too much attention on certain Democrat constituencies?
In alabama and took antibody test a while back and was negative. High fever last weekend took a test negative, took one today negative. I guess I am just waiting for it still. Luckily better meds, beds, and care now.
