A mob of far-left Antifa militants are mobbing the home of Portland city council member Dan Ryan for voting against an amendment to defund the police. The mob was at his home after 9 p.m., shining bright lights at his windows and chanting in the street. His home was also egged and splattered with paint.

The police in Portland defunded themselves. They no longer exist. Their refusal to enforce the law made them irrelevant.
This guy is finding out the hard way. The police in Portland is the Antifa mob.

I understand that the mayor of Portland and the chief of police, I suppose, want to let this go on, but what happens to a city when someone calls the police and they don’t come? That is insane. These are crimes being committed, and nothing to stop it?
If before WW1 had the European powers shot all their AntiFa types there would have been far, far less suffering in the last century.
People who think they’ll benefit if they can just set the world on fire are not worth keeping around.
When they riot and loot they should be shot very dead by the ordinary people whose lives, persons, or property they threaten.
Still, I guess I can at least enjoy my issue of the Rocky Mountain Times that has the front page story of Sacco and Vanzetti’s last appeal being rejected. They fried even as Upton Sinclair lied.

I could care less if they burned the whole damn city to the ground and hanged all their “politicians”.
The police aren’t going to help us aside from a few courageous rural sheriffs.
They will do what they’re told. They’ll adopt a castle strategy if necessary which means they’ll only defend themselves and their government overlords.

That’s like goats who bolted from the stables killing pigs (Marxist and anarchists) who escaped a few years before.
Then the farmer had to deal with the goats while other pigs managed to consolidate their position for decades.
Violence must be met with greater violence or it will continue and expand. Sooner or later someone realizes this and takes the appropriate action. That person is pilloried for a while, but eventually is lionized.
Don’t even have to look to know the target himself is a far leftist.

As i understand it, they really had no other choice. The one opponent he had in the race was more lefty and more pro-antifa than he is.
