In order to keep and re-establish the 99.9% of the Constitution and freedom in this country, I think Trump may have to break that one amendment to do so. (Lincoln had to do the same thing with the same reasoning in suspending the right of Habeas Corpus at the beginning of the Civil War. He believed he had to break that one right to win the attack on the whole of the Union.)
We are definitely at war now against America’s enemies within, and America is on the brink. If breaking one amendment serves to save America, the whole of her Constitution which created it, and her freedom, so be it.

Sounds similar to a rant I made this AM in the presence of my wife. I live in deep blue Seattlestan, and trying to figure out where to move to. I dont want to be here when the pew pews start to fly. Have plenty of guns and ammo, but I am outnumbered 4:1. In short, if America falls, where the hell are we supposed to go?

My wife grew up in Seattle, from around 1955 until we moved here in 2006. I retired from the Army in 1992 and settled up in Bremerton. I worked in downtown at three different liberal law firms. I was there during WTO riots and lootings. My wife retired from Bank of America after 32 years in 2005. We sold our house in ONE day on New Year’s Day 2006! We waited until summer, I quit my job, we loaded up and moved back here to my home state of Alabama. We could not be happier than being in the MOST conservative and Christian state in the Republic. We are madly happy here. She loves it here. She still has some family in WA state, Kaliforniastan and AZ. But, she loves it HERE!!! She loves the south. She loves the warm sunny hot sweaty summers. We met riding the ferry to work way back in 1993. Started dating and married in 1995. 25 blissful years and 14 of them here in the Heart of Dixie, Alabama. COME ON DOWN. You certainly cannot do worse than where you are stuck now!!
