Biden campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon: "We continue to have multiple pathways to 270 electoral votes" says they can win 270 even without PA and FL

In Biden campaign briefing, advisor Bob Bauer notes that so far polls are up and running without major delays, and that very few ballots have been rejected (FL: 0.3%, WI: 0.1%, NC: 0/6%)

Says R predictions of mass election day chaos and fraud have not occurred

Bauer on election lawsuits:

"the courts recognize these last-minute hijinx for what it is... they're designed to generate the appearance of a cloud over the election, they are not in fact bonafide legal claims against voters."

Jen O'Malley Dillon: "We come into election day in our battleground states ahead by eight points. Obviously each state is different... Florida is a coin toss without a doubt."

O'Malley Dillon: "Trump has such a harder hill to climb today to overcome the advantage we came in with"

O'Malley Dillon: "We believe that we're going to end tonight having left every single ounce on the field, because of the enthusiasm and the hard work of our volunteers all across the country."

As the networks said in 2016 as Arizona was too close to call that if the Clinton campaign is staking their hopes on traditionally Republican Arizona then it is really a dire situation on the electoral map. But without PA I think Biden must have Arizona.

For Biden to win without PA and FL, he would have to pull an upset in AZ, NC, win the NE D-2 (where I live), and win MI, MN and WI. Oh, and win the D-2 in Maine.
Not going to happen.

It's not so aggressive on their part. They believe that they have MI and MN solid, and so they only have to split WI, AZ, NC and GA to clear 269, even while losing FL, OH and PA.

They can’t win without Florida and Pennsylvania... That is impossible. Trump can win without Pennsylvania, but that isn’t going to be a problem... Because he’s winning Pennsylvania.

From 7:00 AM (opening of polling places in PA) till 8:00 AM I waited in line to vote in a Allegheny County suburb of Pittsburgh. Never waited that long to vote. There were old people with canes, young people, people in suits & work uniforms. Trump won the precinct here in 2016. When I saw the line I assumed it is good for Trump as the Biden voters suppo0sedly already voted.

I’m hoping PA is to Joe Biden what Tennessee was to Al Gore in 2000.

Similar to Nate Silver of 538 with Joe’s 87 percent chance this morning now backtracking “if Trump wins Florida, NC and GA, he has a 50 percent chance of being reelected”.

Thanks Nate. How useless can you get.

There is no legitimate path to 270 for Biden.

Without PA there is absolutely not path and Biden ain’t taking PA.

The last time Florida’s pick for president didn’t win was 1992 when Florida incumbent George H.W. Bush won the state against Bill Clinton. The only other blimp in the past 80 years was in 1960 when Florida went for Richard Nixon over John F. Kennedy. Other than that Florida is a bellwether.

They are very worried about PA and for me that is a good sign.

Without PA Biden must be victorious in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Arizona and that is 270 so must win Maine congressional district.

No way Biden wins without FL and PA.

It is possible. All they have to do is: Hold the mid-west: MN, MI, WI and win Arizona and New Mexico.

It's not that far-fetched.

Don’t be nervous about PA. One, we don’t need it to win

It is possible for Trump to win without PA. But to do so, he'd HAVE to win Michigan. And, run the table in ALL the other close contests. It gets a LOT harder without PA

Thankfully the President just said their watchers in Arizona are showing a big day for GOP. I think if Trump wins Michigan and Arizona it is over.

Assuming we hold Georgia, then holding Arizona means we only have to win ONE from MI, WI, MN, PA.

That would be a trick for them because folks are talking about Trump reaching 270 before PA is counted.

They would need GA or NC, which is hard to see if they lose FL and PA, or AZ (ditto).
