CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer can't believe his eyes.
As we've reported, business owners in Washington, D.C. and other major cities across the country are preparing for the worst on Tuesday night. Never before have stakes and tensions been so high before a presidential election, and riots are now expected to go hand-in-hand with the results.
"I never thought I would see so many buildings here in the nation’s capital boarded-up on the eve of a presidential election in anticipation of possible unrest," Blitzer wrote on Twitter, sharing some footage of boarded up businesses in the nation's capital. "And it’s not just in DC. It’s happening in New York, Los Angeles and elsewhere around the country. So sad!"
And former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell can't believe his ears. He reacted to Blitzer's monologue by noting it's people like him and networks like his that have "fanned the flames" for our current violent culture. Every time viewers turn on the TV, he noted, CNN is attacking the president.

Grennell needs to be made the head of either the CIA or the FBI and he needs to go in there and clean house from TOP to BOTTOM!

That’s like the “15 days to stop the spread” plan. Light foot better have a 10-month preparedness plan...or maybe a four year plan.
Not meaning Ric Grenell is to blame but wolfie and his ilk as Ric states. Good job Mr. Grenell. Call out the trash as it should be called out.
Scared me for a minute........I thought Ric was talking about himself....;)....I hope there’s a job in the Presidents second term for him. A top job in his administration. This guy, like our President is fearless.

Lightfoot can’t even change the weekend carnage count in Chicago so I don’t have any confidence she can address an even larger challenge.

Not just Wolf to be fair, the entire media has injected division and hate.
Trump needs to put Grennell in charge of the FBI. He’s a man of action and he has Trump’s back.
The media hounds on Trump to disavow some organization that is barely ever a blip on the radar all to cover for the fact that they refuse to ask Biden even just once to disavow the most-peaceful elephant in the room.
They fan the flames of violence by permissiveness and willful negligence.
