Ministers believe that the four-week coronavirus lockdown in England could continue until next year, with a short break for Christmas.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed media rumours that England was going to go into a second lockdown, starting from November 5th and due to end on December 2nd. The country would then return to regional tiered restrictions.

When has the NHS made treatment decisions that incurred any kind of cost beyond "2 aspirin and call me in the morning"?
In the USA we had a 2-week shutdown which has now lasted more than 270 days.
I see the UK is planning a 4-week shutdown that will last all the way into next year.

Why are European countries doing these lockdowns? We have been told for months now, that Europe was handling the virus so well, while we in America (meaning Trump) completely mishandled the virus.
How will the liberals blame the problems in Europe on Trump? After all, Trump is personally responsible for the virus, and presumeably is responsible for problems worldwide, according to the rhetoric we hear.

My son in law owns an internet site that has about 35 developers. His people have been WFH since April and are more productive than in an office. His building lease (in Seattle) expires the end of the year and he’s not renewing.
He will be full work from home from now on. And here’s the twist: He’s hired his last Seattle employee. The rest will be from tier 2 and 3 markets, where they are equally qualified, but substantially cheaper. And he and my daughter are moving out of the state of Washington as well. They are just done with the nonsense.
This is the NWO control the globalists have been yearning for. We’ll have another pandemic soon.
I have been very happy to see that a number of Catholic bishops have come out and opposed the shutdown of churches and worship services (this on behalf of all the Christian churches).
The Anglicans, predictably, since it’s a state church, sent a letter supporting the government and promising to obey. But the letter did say that individual parishes could make decisions on some things, which was encouraging.
I don’t know what the other churches are doing...hopefully, fighting back.
They need a little of the spirit of the colonials in 1776..................

Why is anyone surprised? Fauci is on record saying that even with a vaccine, we’ll need to wear masks, practice social distancing, etc, well into 2022.
