To listen to some people on the left, Amy Coney Barrett is a vicious monster. She’s going to the court eager to overturn laws and precedents of other Supreme Court cases, all to turn back the clock not just to 1776, but back to the Middle Ages.
To listen to these people, she is on a crusade to overturn 200 plus years of societal change. And the cherry on top, is that she is Trump’s secret agent, to automatically rule for Trump in cases which might arise from the election.

The author does not understand the role of the courts. It is their job to interpret the Constitution precisely as the framers intended. If—a big if—there is a need to change provisions of the Constitution these efforts need to be addressed to Congress and the states, not to the court.
