So....we’re to assume that all returned ballots are voting for the party for which the voter has declared when they registered?

We don’t declare for a party when we register to vote in my state, so I need some understanding of the details.

I thought your vote was supposed to be a secret, how do they know who is a Republican and Who is a Democrat?

If anything, more registered Democrats will vote for Trump than registered Republicans will vote for Biden.

One doesn't need to be a genius to figure out this is great news for Trump.

These reports are counting the number of people who declared for a particular party, not how they marked their ballot. What’s always missing from these reports are the number of voters who are not registered as Republican or Democrat.

That’s one big reason to oppose mail in ballots.

All data like this are derived by TargetSmart modeling. So take it for what it’s worth.

In some states (NC, FL, PA) the party breakdown is exact.

In Wisconsin and Texas, the numbers are based on models. Don’t rely on them.

If aliens were to land in rural Wisconsin they’d think it was a place named “Trump”. based on the signs they’d see.

_______

Makes it even better since it’s coming from a Dem organization, right? Like a witness for the prosecution giving testimony in favor of the defense.

“If anything, more registered Democrats will vote for Trump than registered Republicans will vote for Biden.”
PLUS
a significantly greater percentage(88%?) of Republicans support Trump than Democrats(77%) support Biden.

Many traditional blue collar union households will break for Trump. How could they not?

I think that’s been pretty consistent every time it’s polled.
Obviously both are very very high, but more r’s are voting for trump than d’s for Biden

There are some reports that even though D may be leading R in returned envelopes, the % point gap between them is smaller than 2016. Though there are probably more people voting by mail in 2020 for obvious reasons. So I don’t know what to make of any of this except that it’s noise and maybe an attempt at demoralization and suppression by either or both sides.
