New Jersey Mayor Derek Armstead was caught opening government food boxes to the poor, removing letters from President Trump and replacing the letters with his own.
The Democrat mayor wants his constituents to believe they came from his office.
This is dishonest and unsanitary.
But he is a Democrat.

A letter from President Donald Trump that accompanied U.S. Department of Agriculture fresh food boxes for Linden was replaced by one from the city’s Democratic mayor, Derek Armstead.
Food boxes were opened by local public works department employees. Trump’s letter was removed and a letter from Armstead was added.
“The original letter in these boxes was removed, and the mayor had city employees put in his letter on work time,” said Councilwoman Gretchen Hickey, a Democrat and an Armstead political rival.
Armstead acknowledged that his message was added to the box, offering local residents the impression to recipients that the food came from him.
“Whenever I do a delivery, I always add a letter from the mayor,” Armstead told the New Jersey Globe.

‘Political propaganda’ or ‘essential public health messages’? Government-sponsored food boxes include a letter from Trump, and some Chicago food pantries are removing it.
A political party that demands women have the right to walk into an abortion slaughter house and have their fetus murdered is found guilty of lying, cheating and stealing shouldn’t surprise anyone.

and charging him quickly will help prevent any other Aholes from messing with the delivery of federal aid programs to, presumably, needy citizens
we don’t have to like or approve of the giveaway/handout/aid programs to want to keep Aholes like this from messing with the aid before it can reach its intended recipients
This is the same tactic the Viet Cong used in the ‘60s and ‘70s with food from the Red Cross. Some Democrat/Communist skullduggery never changes.
Adding a letter would be no problem to me, especially if it were to highlight local resources. REMOVING Trump’s letter and replacing it removes the reminder of the fact that these parcels are paid by National Taxpayers, not just the local politicos!

Trump is attacked for not doing enough on covid but this is him delivering a message to people in need during covid and it’s called political and they are paying staffers to remove the included letter or even replace it with one of their own?
