Twitter on Sunday removed a tweet from one of President Donald Trump's top Covid-19 advisers falsely claiming masks don't work to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The tweet no longer appeared on the site as of Sunday morning, replaced with a note saying "This Tweet is no longer available" and a link to Twitter's rules and policies explaining why the company removes or limits certain posts.
The tweet in question, posted on Saturday by Dr. Scott Atlas, read, "Masks work? NO: LA, Miami, Hawaii, Alabama, France, Phlippnes, UK, Spain, Israel. WHO:"widesprd use not supported" + many harms; Heneghan/Oxf CEBM:"despite decades, considerble uncertainty re value"; CDC rvw May:"no sig red'n in inflnz transm'n"; learn why."

Flood twitter with photos from mask packaging saying that they don’t offer protection.
Quote the CDC who said masks don’t protect the wearer.

NBC, ABC, CBS, etc.’s own reporting in late February and early March said they didn’t work as well and caused more harm than good.
That may be wrong, but that’s the message they perpetuated into the culture repeatedly and often for weeks, and now they act like it’s nuts for anyone to have ever thought such a thing when they are the ones that spread that narrative themselves.
I guess that people are paid to be influencers on Twitter and Facebook and Instagram because really are that gullible to take advice from paid shills who call themselves “experts”.

Damn, aren’t we all lucky that the medical and disease experts at Twitter are looking out for us.
I am 51 and I understand the pervasive perverse nature of media. I am savvy to the institutional lying and propaganda. I feel like the only one. But in fairness I swallowed G.W.Bush, thought he was a Ronald Conservative and believed the WMD argument for Iraq so I can be fooled.
Bizarre. All the places that have been masked up to their eyeballs and locked down are the ones that are reporting the highest numbers of “cases” (which can mean either people at death’s door, or simply people who tested positive and had no or few ill effects).
A CDC study recently revealed that 70% of the people who tested positive said they wore masks all of the time; another 15% wore masks “most of” the time; and only 6% said they never wore masks. So why not publish those statistics from the CDC itself?
Masks have never worked. If they did, doctors and nurses in hospitals would have not gotten the virus, but they did.
Your own immune system and the concentration of viruses in the air( viral load) will determine whether you get it or not.
This has always been the case. Masks, face shields don’t work.
Also, the virus has mutated to a less harmful form. Herd immunity works and almost everyone has been exposed by now.
This whole mess IS the testing, the NFL is living proof several player have tested positive and the very next day tested negative the TESTS ARE BOGUS!! There is no one in this country that can be trusted any longer!!
As far as masks go, if you feel better wearing one, do it...If you don’t think it helps, don’t wear it...It’s your choice...
With that said, Twitter allows other disinformation and out right lies to be published on it site all the time. Twitter allows leftist tweets on the economy, investing, foreign policy, foreign intelligence, domestic policy, trade deals, terrorism, rioting, looting, murder and violence. I guess they are not experts on those non-scientific issues, but when it comes to medicine they know more than real scientists.
A fundamental part of real science is skepticism. Science requires honest disagreement and debate. Twitter silences that debate. That is not good for the advancement of science. It is not good for public health policy.
There is about 10,000% more clinical evidence of HCQ & Zinc efficacy than there is for face masks. Additionally, HCQ has far fewer negative side effects.
