I saw the video of the attack on the Freedom of Speech group in San Franciso, the cops were safely behind barriers and did nothing when the Freedom of Speech guys were being assaulted.
I suspect that in a lot of these radical liberal cities the rank and file cops tend to be liberal as well, and most chiefs of police in such cities are more loyal to the democrat party and the radical mayors to the point of being mostly uninterested in enforcing the law and protecting the average citizen.
FYI, they run away a short distance, but then come right back, often sporting firearms openly. This isn’t the classic “scare off the hippies with a show of force and it’s over” scenario from decades past.
Also, as the Rittenhouse incident shows - patriots need to mask and carry their own body cameras.
